I have an oddball grill that was put in about 20 years ago. Only in the sense that it’s not a well-known American brand, so finding parts for it is difficult.Over the years I guess through heat expansion of the grill exterior, perhaps, the flavorizer bars that came with the grill frequently fall off because they’re not quite long enough to stay in place on the interior pegs they rest on.I’ve ordered parts for my grill to refurbish it in the past, but the manufacturer is in Canada, and it’s kind of pricey and a hassle, with the whole customs deal.These really caught my attention because they are adjustable which makes them unique in the marketplace. I was able to create the perfect length of 14 in and 6/8 and I expect this is a one and done adjustment, because when these things start to get crusty and hit with flames, I’m pretty sure the adjusting screw and nuts are going to be nearly impossible to break loose and adjust again. Fortunately, that shouldn’t be necessary.The design of these flavorizers are a little different than my originals, which as you can see from the photo had more slots, so I’m unsure how they’re going to affect my grilling practices, but I’m not expecting any issues.
