Most other units out there have non-stick surfaces throughout. Non-stick surfaces have their place, but for me, food isn’t one of them. I try to watch what I ingest, including all of the non-food bit of it: plastic, metals, coatings… none of that stuff is good for a human body. And the size… I own a toaster/microwave/conventional oven. Or did. I gave away everything but the conventional oven. Which I will only very occasionally use with a large pizza steel when making pizzas. But otherwise, this things does the work of all of those.Generally speaking the pre-programmed options seem to work well. Cleanup isn’t terrible. I put a sheet of aluminum foil in the bottom to make it even easier. I like the glass in the door (as opposed to plastic) and the light is nice. Cool down is reasonable and I haven’t had it get dangerously hot on the outside which is nice.I also like the dehydrate function. My only gripe about the whole thing relates to that. And that is that it’s tricky to get it to put something like 12 hours on the timer. I can either stand there and hold the button down while it slowly winds up to 12 hours. Or, and only sometimes, I can somehow get it get it to agree to go “backwards” on the timer and go direct to 12 hours. I dunno, not a terrible problem because I’m not doing it often but it’s an odd quirk I’ve found with it that hopefully can be addressed by the manufacturer?Otherwise I Love it.
