Released in 1989, 101 is both a live album and a documentary that chronicles the final leg of the band’s 1987/1988 Music for the Masses Tour. Serving as both a live record and a greatest hits collection, 101 proved Depeche Mode’s capability on stage was equal to their studio work. While primarily covering tracks from the Music For The Masses album, the set also includes earlier fan favorites such as “Everything Counts” and “Just Can’t Get Enough”.
