DescriptionThe premiere of this arrangement took place on 8 December 2018 as part of the International Percussion Festival in Brno (CZ).Both musicians play on the same five-octave marimba. The first player stands in the usual position; the second stands in front of the instrument, opposite the first player. It is important to use mallets that sound as similar as possible to each other. The second player’s bass mallet can be little softer, the first player’s soprano mallet a little harder.
